Project outcomes

Trafficworks undertook this project in partnership with Hansen Partnership for City of Glen Eira. This project involved reviewing the movement and place classifications and the Integrated Transport Strategy for the transport corridors within Glen Eira and categorising the streets into typologies based on the classifications, using DoT’s Urban Road and Street Design Guideline. Aspirational cross sections and framework plans were then developed, and a Street Design Guideline was prepared.

Following this work, we assisted Council in identifying the changes required to the movement and place classifications, and lodged the change request to Department of Transport.
